Spontaneous Locomotor Activity Test

It refers to the animal's voluntary, aimless motor behaviors under non-compulsory conditions, including all forms of displacement activities such as walking, running, rearing, exploring, and grooming.

The animal is allowed to freely explore in a box for a fixed period of time, so as to quantitatively evaluate the animal's voluntary exploratory behavior and anxiety-like emotional state in a novel, open environment.
